Norditrack Rower Review

The NordicTrack RW900 Rower is a premium rowing machine that comes with a three-year iFIT family membership ($39/month). It has a large touch screen and an impressive array of features.

The iFIT system provides workout classes and nutrition guidance. It also provides a range of workouts including boot camp, high intensity interval training, yoga and meditation.

The RW900 and the RW600 Rower can be used with iFIT, which offers an amazing array of workouts that range from strength to yoga, HIIT and running. It also has a variety of hiking, walking and cycling workouts. Its strength classes are great for those who want to build muscle mass, and its yoga workouts are great for mental health and balance.

iFIT is an at-home fitness app that provides access to thousands of workouts led by world-class trainers. You can follow them hands-free as you exercise on your NordicTrack machine, treadmill or elliptical. The app will adjust your speed, incline and resistance to match the on-screen workouts.

iFIT is easy to set up with NordicTrack rowers, which feature large touchscreens that walk you through the process. GGR Head of Content Kate Meier was able to connect her iFIT account to the RW900 with no problem, although you’ll need to pay for a subscription for full functionality.

The resistance of an electric circuit or electrical device is the opposition to the flow of electricity. It is expressed in ohms () and it restricts the current causing it to drop and generate heat. Using resistance can be beneficial for training, especially if you want to slow down your pace without having to slow down on an elliptical or treadmill. Our rowers have a variety of digital resistance levels including 26 for both beginners and advanced users.

The 2024 version of this rower is lighter and more contemporary to look at than its predecessors. It also has a much quieter sliding system and upgraded console display. It also offers the same 26 digital resistance levels and SMR Silent Magnetic Resistance as the earlier model.

The RW900 is an excellent connected-fitness rower that comes with a free month of iFit connected-fitness membership (a $49 value). This gives you access to trainer-led workouts on waterways and in studio settings.

The RW900 features an air-based resistance system with a large inertia flywheel that delivers an effective workout experience. It has a built-in fan that intakes air with each stroke to create resistance based on your own effort and speed. It also includes a handle that allows you to adjust the air damper for more manual control of the resistance. The new iFit AutoAdjust feature also automatically adjusts the rower’s resistance in real-time as your iFit trainer leads you through high-energy workout sessions.

While a rower can improve your cardiovascular fitness and build endurance, you need to use it correctly to avoid injury. Make sure that you’re standing upright, and don’t arch your back while rowing. You should also be careful not to overdo your workout, as this can lead to serious injury or even death.

The NordicTrack RW900 is the company’s top-of-the-line model, taking a page from Peloton with its ability to stream workout classes through iFit. It comes with a free 30-day family iFit membership, so you can choose from studio rows and on-demand classes that incorporate exercises off the machine, yoga, strength training, and high intensity interval training.

It’s a bit heavier than other rowers, but it has front-mounted transport wheels to help with movement. It also has a 10-year frame warranty, which is more than the industry standard for cardio equipment. The company offers a pretty standard return policy, too-you have 30 days to return anything that doesn’t work for you.
